Lol I can't say I blame you. They have an agenda to push; you either agree with it and deny its existence, or you disagree and refuse to listen (which is probably the smarter choice). It's that way with all American news networks nowadays, sadly.

@TOPSTARWY It wasn't written by Him. The only words that (supposedly) come from Him are the Ten Commandments. Everything else was written by His prophets (people who have spoken with Him, ostensibly).

@jxgreen1985 Actually the one in Genesis about Joseph being sold as a Hebrew slave and later becoming ruler over all of Egypt is rather interesting... I recommend it it's a good read.

@ttaylor8239 Thanks. This is why I think the media truly is the enemy of the people; if they refuse to fair, impartial and nonpartisan, then they should at least aim to reconciliate. Unfortunately, by favoring only one side all they do is divide people with their coverage as opposed to uniting them or finding common ground. Our common ground here should be basic human decency: that is, even though you may disagree with what someone does in his or her personal life, still respect them as a human and don't look down upon them for it. It's beyond your power to change his or her lifestyle. And if it's not harming anyone, what difference does it make?

@BA10 Honestly. My punch line is kids are starving in Somalia but in America we have people who are worried that they have been "misgendered," even though they CLEARLY have the genitals of that gender. Like where is our society headed... 🤦‍♂️

I didn't expect that comment out of you. As a supporter of gays (but not one myself), even I admit that this is one of the more disgusting things ABC has done as of late. Even if I don't necessarily agree with them, I think the responsible thing to do would be to respect the beliefs of the religious community and choose their thumbnail a little more carefully.

@TOPSTARWY I think s/he means perish for all eternity. So either it's all made up or you're going to hell for a thousand years. Which one do you take your chances on? Don't get me wrong though: you have an absolute right not to believe it. I won't judge you, that's for God to do.

@sleeplessinseattle5160 Correction: the Bible has been translated hundreds of times (into various languages, versions, etc.). But the original texts are still mostly intact. It's just a matter of translating ancient Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic and then interpreting it.

@TOPSTARWY He doesn't make it rain wtf. There's something known as the "Water Cycle" that produces precipitation. What He does do is manipulate the weather for His purposes (Noah's flood). But that likely hasn't happened for a looong time.
