Amazing how one woman, one allegation -- with little to no evidence -- can permanently tarnish a man's career and reputation. Women who are caught making false allegations ought to receive the same sentence the man they are accusing would have gotten if he were convicted. It does a massive disservice to all the women are actual victims of domestic violence. Horrific.

@El Macho Trump Hey man, I'm all for chivalry, but (at least nowadays) it only works with some women. I can understand how a woman might find it insulting if I open the door for her every time. Others, of course, have no problem with it (and some even expect that of their male partners). But if a woman insists on moving a couch all by herself, hey no skin off my back. 🤷‍♂️ I'll respect her preferences no matter what they are, so long as they don't cause me injury or humiliation. That means, of course, that I draw a hard line at persistent violence -- it's my conviction that a man can only reciprocate out of self-defense. But if the situation devolves that severely, by far the best decision would be to end the relationship as soon as possible.
