@shaunstark4263 I'll take my chances with men for truth. This "god" of yours (out of literally thousands in human history, I don't know if it's Zeus, Amon Ra, or what) has never spoken a word to me. If by "god" you mean the scriptures, then I'm definitely going with today's experts because the men who wrote the Bible thought for certain that the Earth was flat, immobile, and at the center of the universe. Oh, and disease and natural disasters were God's punishment for sin, not caused by germs like viruses and bacteria or tectonic activity and weather patterns. The Bible is not only antiquated in science, but in morality as well. Not a single word condemns slavery (even by the Messiah himself) -- with the possible exception of the Israellites.
