Newborns can feel pain, fetuses prior to 18 weeks can't. There's your simple answer. And by the way, if abortion is criminalized we will hear a LOT more stories just like this --- causing incomprehensible amounts of suffering that could have been avoided if the problem was addressed early on by a medical professional. Go figure.

You can't call your protest the "March for Life" if you regularly dine on the bodies of conscious creatures raised in factory farms and brutally slaughtered. Oh, and guess what: Fetuses before 18 weeks are neither conscious NOR feel pain. The fact that this is still a "debate" is frankly ridiculous. 🤦‍♂️

Exactly. Women who even consider abortions are almost always the ones who either can't afford a child, or simply don't want one. Neither is a good scenario in which to be raised. This guy gets it. ^^^^

The babies don't even know what is happening to them. Kids who are raised in poor households, in dysfunctional families, going to delapidated schools, and eventually forced to pay for college and their own health insurace, DO.

@The_TRUTH_or_Nothing Fetuses can't feel pain until around 18 weeks. Because "brain activity" doesn't carry any moral weight from a utilitarian perspective but the capacity to suffer DOES, that's my limit. And I'll fight like hell to ensure that women can exercise bodily autonomy until that point.

@dannyboy4140 Killing pigs and cows by the millions is taking away life too, and causes an INCOMPREHENSIBLE amount of suffering in the process. The fact that the life in this instance belongs to the human species makes absolutely no moral difference whatsoever.
