@SUGAR_XYLER So Othello is not a fictional play by William Shakespeare? If the question was truly common sense only, anyone totally unfamiliar with the play, or any other work by Shakespeare for that matter, should be able to answer it correctly using pure reason. Is that the case here?

@davidellis5141 Who the fuck cares? Reading centuries-old literature doesn't make you smart. What makes you smart is being able to mathematically calculate and reason logically. Being culturally knowledgeable is not an indicator of inborn intelligence. Sorry.

@katbowl9971 I hate it when people misdefine "intelligence." Some things require it, such as winning a game of chess or solving a puzzle, but others (like reciting a historical fact, or more especially a detail pertaining to a work of fiction) do not. These things are pieces of knowledge and don't demonstrate an individual's innate ability to reason and process information, two key aspects of determining intelligence.

@bflatt1847 And you think I care? That in no way discredits my argument in the slightest . I was responding to a couple of replies, namely the ones that said "Because you are smart" and something about a character named Iago from the Shakespearean play Othello. Knowing who the characters are and the story of Othello does not demand intelligence. Memorization? Of course. But not intelligence.
