Lol I'm almost inclined to say that that is a fair compromise. No one in the risk group should be out there protesting, that's for sure. Prescribe the protestors some antiviral drugs (if available) and hope they make it.

@jeaninemorgan9118 Well the CDC has already predicted that most Americans are going to get it at some time anyway, all of this social distancing is just so we don't overwhelm the medical system.

@eduardochavacano I don't know where this "suing China" stuff came from, but while we're on that topic my personal feeling is China should forgive a large portion of our debt to them. Losing tens of thousands of lives is not how we might have envisioned paying off our national debt, but if we can something out of this it'll be to our benefit.

@LisaLisa001 Okay geez... I'm supporting these protests because I don't want to see the government permanently expand their influence like they did after 9/11 (the PATRIOT Act is still in effect, why?), and also because they're exercising their 1st Amendment rights. Would I like to see them practicing social distancing and wearing masks? Of course. But at the end of the day, keeping this country free of tyranny (as well as not doing too much damage to the economy) is a much larger issue that will have much longer-lasting implications than a flu virus.

@Nikola95inYT Is going back to work really "being selfish"? Because I'm finding that staying home (except for essential needs like grocery shopping for myself and my grandma) is actually really easy.

I love Colorado, leading the nation in relaxing restrictions on recreational use of harmless drugs like marijuana and LSD, and yet keeping in mind what is most dear to us: American freedom. Keep up the great work my Libertarian friends 👍
