@mikeboydus Have you seen Scandinavia? They're some of the safest countries on the planet, and all of them are 60% or more nonreligious. If you need an imaginary fairy in the sky to tell you that human life has value, then I don't know what to say other than you're weak-minded.

Lust isn't a sin. It's a biological function just like any other. Can you imagine if it was a sin to eat? Everyone who believed that would be dead. Get over yourself 🙄

@mikeboydus Natural instict is not the same as a biological function. This is a false equivalency. The urge to reproduce is of the same biological necessity as the urge to eat and drink. All of the things you mentioned are NOT. But your argument could be easily dismissed in another way: lust in and of itself doesn't cause harm. Certain actions, of course, can cause harm, but we can easily write laws outlawing them. And we have laws that fight each one of the things you mentioned as well. It's not the biological imperative that matters, it's what causes unnecessary suffering.

Religion is DYING! This is the last bastion in the developed world, and it's taking its last breath. Finally, people are beginning to wake up and realize that there is no truth to all the metaphysical, supernatural bullsh*t they were taught as children. This is really good news. No doubt all the bigotry and superstitious dogma will fade away with time as well, and we can finally catch up with our allies in the West and create a perfectly secular, humanistic society that cares for everyone, and leaves no one behind. Yes people, there is no God. You were lied to. Wake up from your stupor and start living like this is the only life you got--because it is. Thanks ABC for the report.
