@dorothyclabaugh1488 That isn't my point. You missed my argument entirely. Is it fair that someone loses their job, their livelihood, for no good reason at all except the boss felt that they were a burden in some way, or personally disliked him or her? Of course not. Being fired should be a punishment, only used as a last resort after said employee has violated company policy or federal/state/local law in much the same way a cop can't arrest someone and send him/her to jail because (s)he said his haircut looks horrible. It's called due process, and it should apply to employment as well.

Justice if he got back at the establishment that carried out a possible wrongful termination. If I was fired for no reason whatsoever, I'd feel the same way. A tragedy innocent people lost their lives though. We need better job security.

@buildthewallwiththewoke Then you might be surprised to hear that I'm a Libertarian, so while Bernie does have some good ideas (like ensuring the lower classes are paid a livable wage), I firmly, firmly disagree with Socialism and, most especially, any form of authoritarianism.

@dorothyclabaugh1488 You might have a point there. I'm all for nonviolent action, and actually despise violence of any kind. But I feel there may be a certain amount of justice in it, however horrible it may be. Say for example, a 7-year-old child is being bullied so relentlessly, both verbally and physically, from the same kid to the point that he contemplates suicide. Then he decides to take action, bringing a gun to school and killing only the bully who has been attacking him for eleven years. I don't agree with the course of action, but I would be dishonest if I said I didn't feel some degree of satisfaction that the poor kid got justice. It's the same way here (though I'm hearing this might be a bit different, not necessarily a wrongful termination but instead racial harrassment).
