  1.  @docsavage8640  please allow me to add my experience as a gentile follower of Messiah. I've lived in two parts of the U.S. that were predominantly Catholic. One they region were mean to protestants, but the other we are all children of God in a functioning community. The mean ones were told not to read the Bible (that was the priest's job). The others we know are born again Bible reading followers. I dropped out of the institutional church years ago (now meeting in small home worship groups), as I refused to be institutionalized. Since then I have grown closer to the Father, Messiah and constantly aware of His Holy Spirit like never before. Hope this helps. Shalom.

  2. I tend to say Believers or even genuine believers. I only mention that so you know you are not alone.

  3. Please know not all Gentile believers are like that. In fact (and I am NOT part of the Hebrew Roots movement) I have learned some practices from Jewish tradition which helps enhance my being a servant of Jesus (Yeshua) Christ (as Messiah). For example I have a mezuzah at my front door so I remember to pray and focus before stepping into the world. Then I can better serve in an manner that glorifies our Heavenly Father. Shalom.
