  1. We saw the BIGGEST Rock Bands for $3.25 @ The Fillmore West. Hendrix was $10., Alitmont/STONES was Free. Free Concerts in the Park (GG) every weekend was the norm. WE would never pay hundreds or THOUSANDS! for a ticket. Groups are better recorded than they are live. But sitting on stage with Jimi was worth sneaking in with his back -up group, Cat Mother. 69' Santa Clara Co. Fairgrounds.

  2. @SkyNet General It was 100Xs better back then. 3-4 Major bands in a night. Well they weren't "major" yet. I remember Santana playing @ the Burlingame Rec. Center for a $1.00. That was before Woodstock. When they came back they charged $3. We called that a rip off and just snuck in the fire doors.
