  13. Wrong. The Taliban emerged after the USA, UK, Europe, etc. funded the Mujahedeen in the 1980's to fight the Soviets. Then, essentially turned their backs on the more moderate Northern Alliance in the Afghan Civil War in the 1990's. This gave way to the Taliban. So in reality, it truly is the fault of the West....
