It does seem incredibly odd the way bonds work, hardened criminals with a long chain of felonies seem to get $1000 bond for extreme criminal activity on their 20th go around, while this guy who was honest to a fault, gets the book thrown at him for his first ever offence. If you're going to fly drones over peoples houses, it might be a good idea to post out a letter so people know why it is there.

@anniehimself Sending out a letter explaining the situation to residents in the area is not exactly a big ask, you could even explain the service to them in that letter and write it off as marketing. This guy has no idea it is a delivery drone, he's 70+, why would he!? A simple letter would be basic courtesy. "This isn't someone taking photos of you, it is a department store delivering items", would be comforting to know, don't you think.

@Clark807 A car has a person in it, a drone does not, regardless, nobody is saying he's in the right for firing at it, merely saying why not be courteous and let residents know what it is and why it is there.
