  1. it's so weird, because in the west, we go to the beach to get a tan on purpose. we spray tan color on our skin and use tanning cream to become darker. darker skin is more resistant to aging and sun damage, and looks so young and flawless, even when they get older. there's no winning - the grass is always greener on the other side.

  2. people with darker skin tend to have better skin that ages more slowly and has fewer blemishes, and is more resistant to sun damage. skin is just skin, color doesn't matter. the person inside that skin is what matters
