  2. this is so bizarre.. but seeing them all wearing KMFDM shirts really freaks me out cuse i love that band too. but all these kids are idolizing them cuse these murderers happened to like them too? this is so weird, i've never heard of this kind of thing before. i guess i haven't been far enough down the rabbit hole, but i think i'll keep my distance

Ernest Everhard yeah, i very much don't think KMFDM would like people like these kids using their name in this way. i have their WW3 dvd and seeing them behind the scenes and stuff, they're really chill people. their message definitely didn't have anything to do with hurting children in schools on purpose.

Star Gamer you'd have to be pretty twisted to believe that song is literally telling the listeners to hurt people. it's about the bands own desire to change the status quo. megalomaniacal is another of their songs, and maybe shows the mindset behind all that confidence ia has in himself for his music to change the world and shake things up. from the barrel of love, he says so many times in that song. it's a metaphor. these kids definitely misinterpreted their meaning.
