  1. Jack Ma is the Steve Jobs (or Steve Wozniak) of China's tech sector, with even more charisma. His main successes; Ali Baba and Antgroup (although less innovative that Jobs and Wozniak origjnated at Apple) are by themselves the right companies at the right time (kind of like Henry Ford, where his vehicles and mass production innovation was timed right, but his innovation rested on the backs and ideas of others). The problem with Ma is the CCP. These paranoid losers (the CCP) are prepared to choke the goose that lays the golden eggs, to effect complete control. A charismatic entrepreneur like Ma cannot comfortably co-exist in this scenario. Had Ma been born in Taiwan or the United States for example, his businesses instead would have gone from strength to strength, unfettered by grey totalitarian dictatorship and control-mania by such a government.
