Well, the criticism would be warranted if you believed GTBT that not only is Russia’s military best soldier corps is still intact, but that Ukraine is not only not succeeding in a high KIA/WIA ratio in Bakhmut, but a negative ratio. First of all, I’ve literally not heard a single source say that Russia isn’t losing anywhere from 3 to 7 men per Ukrainian before and I check dozens or maybe hundreds of sources each week (my job requires it). I have heard that there have been a few days, especially recently when the ratio has become more even, but never anything to the extent he reports here. Second, I have not heard a single credible expert claim that Russia’s most experienced and elite groups of soldiers are anywhere near mostly intact. There might be room for an argument of whether they retain 20%, 30% or maybe even approaching 40%, but largely intact implies more like at least 66% people percent.

“Attriting” is pronounced: uh-trit-ing. You are a-tiring. Great work, but I strongly disagree with your source that casualty ratios are even close to even in Bakhmut. Ukraine’s major reason for staying there is because of how many soldiers it’s costing Russia (I consider Wagner part of the RFAF, which is really made up of dozens of different poorly networked and coordinated individual branches, which results in Russia operating forces that are more akin to foreign allies operating in a single area than one military with 3 or 4 branches acting cohesively).
