The RN dreadnoughts did not get away from wing and echelon turrets, moving to an all centerline main battery, until the Orion class of super-dreadnoughts, which were also the sixth class of dreadnought battleships introduced for the RN. The USN had all centerline turrets from the beginning with the South Carolinas. So while the RN does get some additional classes of ships in, those ships all suffer from additional blast effects and wonky turret arrangements that limit their ability to bring all their guns to bear.
