  1. I have a '98 that's not quite so pristine in the same exterior and interior colors. It is still my very enjoyable daily driver. I bought it at the suggestion of a M-B Certified Master Tech, who thought it was a superior vehicle. That was 22 years ago and I've never regretted the purchase. I still have the original exhaust and all the suspension parts, too. I did replace the motor and transmission mounts, valve cover gaskets and one cam phaser.
