  5. Whether or not someone "should know better" doesn't matter when she's laid out on the side of the road with an injury. An Humvee or Surburban weigh 3 tons. That woman MAY have weighed 150lbs. A driver has to be more responsible than that. All the driver had to do was turn his steering wheel a few degrees. This is inexcusable.

  6. Who said anything about stopping? The driver could've easily swerved to miss her. But instead, he was careless. There's nothing wrong with driving safely to avoid attack (I won't call them terrorists attacks because our occupation there, official or not, is the real terrorism). But there is something wrong with being careless. Also, these are NOT SOLDIERS. These are mercenaries who are milking the warchest for a few dollars.

Hell, if Blackwater still thinks they're fighting a war & they get attacked by a citizen of Iraq who wants them out of his country, that's called "homeland security".

  10. I don't care how "hostile" the environment is. Blackwater has no business there (ht US military had no business there either). So Whatever happens to them is Blackwater's own fault. It's NOT a MILITARY convoy. Blackwater are MERCENARIES. Don't tell me about "tactics" when their reckless driving injured a person.
