  2. Don't get me wrong. I understand what this guy (Harris) is trying to say about gender roles. It's antiquated but I understand what he's saying about the necessity to assimilate at times. Sometimes, you just have to be as generic a man or woman as can be. BUT, there's a serious problem trying to blackjack someone into being "straight". Sexuality has a degree of ambiguity to it. In any case, there's no reason to raise a suppressed kid. The very definition of bad parenting is suppressive parenting.

  3. Take it from a Blackman. It's not an issue of "demographic" or "sociometric". For 1, those are abstractions that you've no business trying to apply here. 2ndly, a Blackperson can very rarely in the closet about being Black. A homosexual can pretend to be heterosexual. Also, sexuality has a degree of interpretative ambiguity. Skin color & the environmental factors involved with upbringing in the culture of a race identified group do not much ambiguity. ie, a homosexual can sit at the table.
