You must be drunk.

I guess you little more homework. A mutated organism CAN pass on a mutation, therefore expediting evolution. And yes, evolution IS a function of practical fits for random changes. I'm not sure how you can argue otherwise. PLEASE don't start with the intelligent design nonsense. You see a "pattern" or "intent" because we (humans) have a bad habit of seeing patterns when they aren't there. We're linear in that sense. But that perception doesn't make it the truth.

No. What I was saying is that relativity theory & gravitational law aren't mutually exclusive. General Relativity doesn't disagree with gravitational law.

Over time, a species DOES evolve.
1
Not exactly.

Are they serious?

Evolution of living things is an observable, measurable, provable fact. Because you don't know what's for dessert doesn't invalidate the dinner you just ate. Also, a species evolving does NOT mean it's elder subspecies becomes extinct. Thats like saying that walking is obsolete because we invented the bicycle. You obviously don't understand the basic premise of the theory or the basic principles of reasoning. Teh Miller Urey experiment HAS been repeated & gotten the same results.

Also, you're talking about what's "astronomical" when we can scarcely estimate 9M SPECIES on the planet; much less the 7B people on the planet by itself. Do you have any idea how backward your argument is?

That's not what evolutionary theory says at all. Were you drunk when you posted that comment?

I thought Muslims weren't allowed to drink & do drugs.

With a teacher like that, they won't get into college.

It's kinda difficult to help a dumbass understand that nuance. Thank you for giving me something to say without going over their heads or facepalming.

The fossil record would be different? How do you make THAT leap in logic? You DO understand that evolution happens through convergent & divergent means. Don't you?

I wonder if that governor can even spell his own name.

They weren't terrestrial, robot dinosaurs. The war was won but the leadership of The Seven Dwarfs. Jeeez. Do I have to explain EVERYTHING? You must be a history teacher in Tennessee.

It's Cenk's show. He can present whatever he wants however he wants to present it. Corny jokes or not, the story isn't any less true. Is it?

The problem is that they're giving science teachers the "option' of ignoring a very critical part of scientific discourse. It's kinda like an English teacher saying, "you can study English but since I don't believe in action, I'll leave verbs out my lesson plan". A chemistry teacher can't leave out double-displacement reactions. A biology teacher can't exclude cell anatomy. So a natural history instructor isn't allowed to omit evolution theory simply because it doesn't fit his beliefs.

Evolution has more proofs than kinks.
1
Sure. That's not really of much consequence. So why not? What's paramount is that we teach our kids the most current information that will have them prepared for the real world. That means teaching MODERN evolution which is far removed from the old picture of a chimpanzee morphing through phases of club carrying then finally walking upright.

Actually, I know tons of Muslims that smoke cigarettes. Tobacco isn;t considered haram. But I was talking about your drinking because you're not talking in your right mind.
1
No. It's a fact. You can watch bacteria evolve. Anyone who's ever done the fruit experiment has watched evolution. Don't "just say". That's for stupid people. Skepticism is good. But ignoring the evidence is reckless & intellectually dishonest.

Mutations ARE random. How they benefit a lifeform is not. A single mutated organism CAN breed & evolve the species. It just takes a long time & a lot of breeding. But hey, that's not a problem given how often organisms hook up. An inability is contingent on more than just the mutation. The problem her is that you're looking at it on a scale that's too small to give proper outlook on the bigger picture. A "theory" is a collection of related facts that from a possible explanation for something.
