  7. Write your congressman, assemblyman or alderman & volunteer. HIllary Rodham (Clinton) worked on Barry Goldwater's campaign when she lived in the Chicago area. You could answer phones, stand in front of WalMart registering voters, you could stuff envelopes, write emails. That's how politics is. Marx said that "all politics are local". Learn who your precinct captain & local delegate are. You could google it & find out right now. You could be on the job by tomorrow.

It took a political thrashing from an ex-Black Panther to define him. Many don't know this. Many don't understand what was happening at the low level in the mid 90s. I knew he'd be president when I smoked a cigarette with him 1996. He was raw & too Ivy League but he could walk into a barber shop & work the whole room. I bet you can too.

  12. That's not true at all. Hitler walked out early on Cornelius Johnson on the 1st day & never came back. Hitler didn't recognize ANYONE at the Olympics. While it's true that FDR ignored Owens, your blanket statement about the US is a misnomer. Eisenhower made him an ambassador 19yrs later. Is that a stretch? Sure. But Eisenhower was a president.
