The private sector isn't pulling its weight. It's not only paying a lesser share of taxes, it's been selling goods & services to the working class & the poor but not recirculating the the dollar. Instead, they either take the money to offshore or Swiss accounts or they give it to Wall Street to "invest" (translation: gamble with).

How so? If Romney is crazy enough to be a member of LDS, he's crazy enough to think voters won't see through his Black-guy gambit. Hell, the RNC had no problem putting a Black face on their party when they chose Michael Steele. Tell me I'm lying.

I just made that same comment. And what's worse is that John McCain is a veteran politician. He got desperate though. I can't see Obeezy, the incumbent, losing to Romney. But I guess 2004 did happen.

Commodity-based currency not a disaster? I guess you've never heard of Greece or Spain.

Why?

Don't forget that English is Cenk's 2nd language.

I guess I should've posed a >1-word question. We all know Cain is a buffoon. I was actually wondering why you you'd lean toward the republican (Romney) instead the republicrat, demopublican (Obeezy).

They ARE hoarding. They don't pay commensurate taxes. They play shell games with the money. But most of all, they don't create jobs. In fact, they outsource jobs. The banks aren't worried about how much money is in an account when they have FDIC protection & access to the Federal Reserve bank who can just counterfeit more money & base its value on derivative speculation (translation: more gambling). That money is not being recirculated. Debt is just being passed on to the middle class.

He;s not taken seriously because his proposed policies will never work.

I'm familiar. I'm talking beyond the terminology. I never said the rich steal from the poor. I said that the rich are the ones manufacturing the products that we need but they're not recirculating that money in the form of passed on savings or jobs. And the GOP wants to help them do that while starting more wars. Hence my initial question: Why would you vote for that agenda?

Why do you think trying to cut all spending on anything they don't is good for the economy? Since when is there actually a free market? Why not do some spending to improve the countries infrastructure? Why not educate our kids so they can compete in global economies & next-gen technology? Why are we importing doctors instead of growing our own? But most of all, how in the hell does a "spending cut" help cultivate our manufacturing base IN a "free market"? If anything, that policy hurts.

If John McCain was desperate & cocky enough to pick Sarah Palin, without vetting her, in an attempt to steal some of Hilary's shine, I think Mitt might just be cynical & cocky enough to think that picking a Black guy would help his campaign. Tell me I'm lying.

The private sector is not the proletariat. The private sector is not he petty bourgeois either. The private sector definitely and the poor & under-served. The "private sector" is big biz that funds elections thus we have elected officials who are complicit in policy shaping that favors de-regulation & appropriate taxing. The private sector takes money from the public then hoards it. Therein lay the problem.

That's what I was alluding to. Roney will be good for big biz. But with out regulations, it'll be like a superhighway that's dominated by Mack Trucks that can go 200mph. The little guy will get crushed when he's just tryna cross the street.
