  2. What I REALLY wanna know is how Allen West knows what a socially identified group, in this case it's homosexuals, thinks. Did he take a survey & use data? Did he talk to a leader of a group that;s largely supported by the "out" community? Or is he just trying to speaking for someone instead of letting someone speak for him/her-SELF? So much for conservatives holding the patent on PERSONAL liberty & NOT wanting gov't (West is a member now) in the way of people living their own lives.

  3. I tend to think that the FFs were all different kinds of protestants & a few deists. That "freedom to practice" came not from any totally secular concern but perhaps from the inability to agree on what brand of God, if any, they'd throw in with. In all fairness though, it's extremely silly for Christians to claim ownership of things like liberty & self-empowerment. As for right now, let's be honest. Almost 72% of our citizens idenfity as Christians.
