  1. Hmm. You have a relatively valid premise but I think you're missing some nuance. For 1, rape is a sex offense & a sexual offender has to be on public registry. If people see the sex crime & don't report it, they're complicit. If they take part in a cover-up, they're complicit. They forfeited their privacy with their own neglect. Let them feel the burn.

  2. Indeed, the victim is never to be blamed. BUT, I think it's worth considering that the victim must be mindful & do his/her best to not be victimized. That's only reasonable. Also, those boys' level of sobriety or impairment has nothing to do with anything. They need to know that this isn't the way you treat other humans.

  3. I agree. A predator doesn't usually discern. However, who decreases the probability of being victimized, the 1 who's sober as a judge or the warm corpse? I agree that the town is making these boys think they have the keys to everything. What I don't agree with, though, is abject, self-victimization. I tend to think that had shebeen the sober angel, she probably would've never been near those little fuckers anyway. In any case, here's hoping they get injured on the field.
