...and they keep talking about how "civilized" they are. What a joke.

@Hispandinavian Only upper class Chinese had that culture. Most of the uneducated peasant did not bother with pleasantries and manners even before the time of Mao. And those people vastly outnumber everyone else in China.

@gridley read up on the KMT when they ruled China. It was no different. At some point you just have to accept that it's just their culture.

@TheQuota2001 No such thing as perfect culture. But some cultures have their act more so than others. Can't deny that simple fact since some cultures accomplish more than others.

Chinese people need to define their values. Problem is they're so busy bickering amongst themselves and trying to fight for their basic survival that they can't come together and decide what's best for their country - and this has been happening all throughout their turbulent history.

Not really. Because some of us know that we are not a reflection of said culture. We can only control ourselves. We don't speak for everyone in our culture.

@softballfj if you're making a case for the exceptions rather than the norm, that should already give you a general overview of how people in said country behave.

@hgin7451 Typical. We're talking about China and offcourse the US comes up in conversation. What is China? Tied to the US in the hip? US isn't perfect nor does it masquerade to pretend to be unlike China. Get over yourself.

@Hossak Yeah, and the only "right" news that's from China are all rosy right? Despite the fact that they love to lambast the West in state owned media.
1
@forreal8014 China always lambasts everyone. They aren't innocent either.
1
@tamtai5218 because you're talking to idiot bots who love to deflect.
1
@Hossak how do you know it's based in the US? What if it's based in Canada?
1
@Hossak wow, how presumptuous of you.
