@teakkaye5364 Well because of russian puppet president in Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych this whole mess started. He would NOT sign the EU association agreement, as agreed on in parlement !! That sparked the Maidan, and the rest is history !!

And beside the US could and cannot make that choice on behalf of all of NATO !! This war happened becasue russia was "loosing " yet anothe rforme rslave state to the west and the EU. Had nothing to do with NATO !! Russia coould not handle that Ukraine wanted to seek the EU association agreement !! So they onformed former puppet president in Ukraine V.Y to not sign the deal , that was greed on in parlement !!
