@@alextim6961 russia went to afganistan to make it theirs, kiling as many as 2 mill people. They US went to take out al qaeda , wich they did !! But the Taliban started fighting the US as well, so they tried to give the people of afganistan freedom especially the women, but fighting fanatics is allmost impossiable, and the US had to leave at some point. Problem was, the 200.000 afgan soldiers did not wish to fight 65.000 taliban and ran !!!
