@user-tm8jt2py3d Actually, you are wrong. Maui has been enduring a drought for quite some time now. That, couple with 80 mph winds from Hurricane Dora just about 200 miles to the south of Maui were the unusual catalysts for a fire, which was most likely caused by a downed power pole and or power line. Stay strong Maui 💙🇺🇸

@CoolBreezeHeals I know, right?! You can't fix stupid. Some people are not only oblivious to common sense, reality, and climate change but are also callus and have no empathy for people in dire straits.

@mikeswanson6145 Yes, all southern regions of the Hawaiian Islands are drier than the northern regions. However, this "rainfall" year has been drier than average. Factor in 70 to 80 mph winds, and you have a recipe for disaster.
