  2. I’m sure they planned to skip the costly research and development phase to jump in the nicely warmed pool and bring cheaper but slightly outdated EVs to market. It’s a strategy. And die hard petrol heads love it, because (so far) these are car brands that didn’t fall for ‘myth of global warming.’
