  2. I don’t think that’s the whole truth . Western car makers want their profit margins on EVs as high as on ICE cars. And that results in their EVs being twice the price of a comparable ICE car. There’s nothing more to say about that. They just can’t pull it off, so they need a way to distract the minds of their consumers. With the promise of a hydrogen future, carbon capture, a revival of nuclear power, … and even more vicious the trade war with China, a war in Ukraine, a genocide in the Middle East, in central Africa, a nuclear threat, a lunatic for president again, a migration problem in Europe, …
