  3. Why? Vaccines aren't inherently bad. I'm 62 and I'm convinced it is the reason I didn't die from the first iteration. But I would not vaccinate a kid for covid, given current info. You're not a hero based on your vaccination status

  7.  @mistyjaquez5254  there was a lot of unfounded belief that the vax would prevent infection, which was repeated by idiots in positions of power. I guess it probably reduces the duration of infection as it reduces severity of symptoms so it might reduce the spread in some immeasurable way. I'm older and lost my insurance during 2020 and I'm confident I made the right choice to get vaccinated. But it's a choice and everyone has to make their own. Glad you've been healthy.

  9.  @cottelito92  I'm assuming they were twenty-somethings. They probably wouldn't benefit significantly from the vaccine and may be risking side effects unnecessarily. Ofc, it depends on each person's unique conditions, history, and genetics, which the the op doesn't know and are none of his business. I would have told him to piss off too.

I don't have any objection to your personal choice based on what is for you adequate information. My point was always only that the post I responded to about "never" was , frankly, stupid and the kind of angry uninformed reaction that is no better than the one-size-fits-all mandates.
