hello kitty condoms? Sanrio really does allow their name on anything I guess lol
636
he blush and turn to stone like in the animes lol

"I'd prefer them to Japanese" "I prefer foreign guys" "I'd might prefer them" Takashii san taking this burn like a champ
199
@nunyabizwacks6711 also " Id rather be black in Japan than white in the middle of an all black neighborhood in America any day" indeed, my family had to move 3 times in my youth because of this very issue. Japanese can't even fathom how lucky they are not to worry about which neighborhood they should move to based on demographics
123
sad that strangers can't interact with eachother, a lot of missed relationship opportunities

@chrishudson9525 She was born in Hong Kong so has at least one Chinese parent who taught her about their culture. We have a lot of East Asians here (Canada) and even though they integrate well they tend to keep their traditions. IMO any East Asian would have an easier time integrating in Japan then other foreigners because of having similar cultures
61
Kpop is influenced by American culture though
47
@tsdfghjkl >"And Tatemae exists not only in Japan but also in other countries. look at Europe today. Thay say their idea is a society where everyone is equal, but in recent years there have been anti-immigrant conservative parties are getting popular" diversity is one of the driving forces of conflict in the West, it's why you should want to keep Japan Japanese and not copy the Western model
45
@gaellegarcin401 altruism isn't the correct term, risk avoidant would be more appropriate
39
@kaze-xo you're right but I'm not referring to fat but body structure. An endomorph can be in shape, flat stomach and no rolls but will still have a thick build, they can never be thin like a ballerina
36
@killininstinct343 it's more then language, it's also behavior and mannerisms, like the Danish guys who refused to be silent while riding the train, had they traveled alone they likely would have complied to the code of silence but because they were traveling together they felt comfortable to behave how they naturally do back home As the population of foreigners grows in Japan they're going to notice a lot of them feel comfortable acting outside the normal bounds of society
27
@vinyl66tape >Don’t be triggered and act like the Tatemae is a beautiful thing, we all know you go home and talk shit about everyone that you didn’t agree with. Don’t you think that’s unhealthy/toxic? It's not perfect but at least you don't have to fear conflict. In the West lack of tatamae has created a lot of conflict
27
@kerolokerokerolo those are all good things, shows a healthy self-preservation instinct
27
@shonenjuri South Africa went from being the 7th largest economy to the 34th in less then 30 years, all that diversity did not help your country one bit
25
@captainvanisher988 yes this, I have family in Germany and it's just as bad there as in the America and Canada, immigration does not lower the cost of living which is the primary reason why people are not having large families anymore, in fact studies show that immigrants also stop having kids after 1-2 generations because they too don't want to bring children into poverty
23
most East Asians are ectomorphs so they are more prone to be thinner and not have a lot of muscle mass. I could see how the other body types would be driven to anorexia so they don't stand out
23
@khust2993 everything about it comes from American pop culture, it's literally just late 90's-early 2000's pop in Korea Only difference is the groups are bigger
23
same I prefer the modesty in fashion Japan upholds, in the West people will walk around in skin tight clothing (even if they are overweight) or just generally dress like a slob
23
not really, his experience was in Singapore which is a majority East Asian country despite having different East Asian ethnicities living there (also it's majority Chinese ethnicity, almost 80%), it's not at all comparable to what we know of "diversity" in Western countries
22
@cvspvr People backstab AND cause direct conflict in the West, we have the worst of both worlds
21
@chrishudson9525 I don't mean her mannerisms I mean the way they are on a domestic level (house rules, cooking/food, religious/cultural practices, etc) are all similar Sort of like all Europeans have similarities despite having various ethnicities and languages because they are also all one race with a root religion
19
@secretsquirrel9722 Japanese are totally in the right to be weary of foreigners, especially men from "former" enemy countries. Dual loyalty, ethnic tribalism and subversion is a big problem with Western diversity. Once you give foreigners voting rights and civil rights they will push you right out of your own country
19
@travelbug6051 that's awful, have you told her that what she's saying is hurtful?
16
I feel like if you're mixed and pretty (like first girl) life is a lot easier then if you're mixed and average or ugly; for mixed people who don't turn out good looking it's all people ever see
15
@richardeinheuser5529 >. Everybody is the same. That’s good and bad. there are no down side to Japan being homogenous especially if you care about real global diversity
14
being an educated Japanese boomer he probably has not lived in areas/times in the US and Germany that were hit hardest by "diversity", likely he lived in nicer/whiter areas. Most of the West has demographically changed significantly just over the last 2 decades, there are places in Germany that were Germany in the 90's that are majority foreign today
13
Honne and tatemae culture, they are not going to be honest about how they feel about things that can cause conflict
13
omg no wonder these salarymen pass out on the trains
12
@Zepego-jk2iz I get it, you are a cultural imperialist who thinks your way is the best way, I don't. Let other people run their countries how they see fit
11
haha you too? I just posted about this, it's cute
11
@biggiedii4889 immigration here (Canada) like most places is a pyramid scam where immigrants go into low wage work where they can't even afford to rent a place to live so often live many to one apartment/house, most put up with it thinking they can "rise up" but that rarely happens and many return home later in life to live like kings off of the Canadian pension (yes you can get pension even if not in the country anymore so long you worked here once) which leads to a revolving door with more immigrants to repeat the process of course non of this is helping anyone but the rich, both natives and immigrants suffer under high cost of living and shitty wages as well as numerous social conflicts, there is also a mass housing crisis since there isn't enough affordable housing for the amount being brought in which has led to waiting lists and bidding wars for even the crappiest of rentals
11
Last guy should go to Helsinki Finland, they put up a big banner that says "Nobody in their right mind would come to Helsinki in the winter except you, you badass"
9
@chrishudson9525 I know what you're saying but growing up with a lot of Asians (especially Koreans, some Chinese) I noticed they have domestic differences to us (white people) Sort of like I'm a child of Western European parents but can adapt easily into the homes of other Europeans. Like when I went to my Polish or Yugoslavian friends house it's very much like how I was raised (manners, how we cook, religion, etc) Don't get me wrong, you can adapt to Asian culture if you're really interested in it and respectful of their ways, and vice versa for Asians in Western cultures, but the fact is that we are still separate races and do have our own quirks and instincts engraved into us from our ancestors, and there's nothing wrong with that
9
@chrishudson9525 " which is what Chinese people do when they move to the west." some integrate but in my experience most Chinese immigrants (and other Asians) are very insular They move to the West for financial reasons and to have a bigger property not because they want to be Western (which is the case for most non-European immigrants) The ones who do become more Western tend to be Christian
9
people have tried building shelters/small housing for them but they just turn them into drug dens, other solution was half-way houses where they are not properly supervised. These people need constant supervision in a mental institution but there aren't enough of them anymore
8
@killininstinct343 They don't need immigration though because they have a temporary workers program that allows a revolving door of peoples from near by Asian countries to undertaken vacant low labor positions which prevents the problems that Western immigration policies have caused They are also constantly improving on automation for things that once required human manual labor
8
@USA.THE.LAND.OF.GUNS.702 I'm not even American (I'm Canadian) so I witnessed my childhood neighborhoods get destroyed by immigration. America has always had their problems with black people, but other countries willingly import those same issues
8
did you talk with her about how she's been feeling since giving birth? A lot of women get post-partum depression or other hormonal issues that can make them not want sex
7
if most American cared what other people think about their looks there wouldn't be an obesity epidemic
7
@f0li0_ you have no respect for other cultures which is what I'm getting from this response
7
The girl who said she doesn't know how Japanese can wear layers of clothing in the summer, it's because the clothes are made of natural fibers like cotton and linen, people in America wear more unnatural fibers like polyester that don't breath so they keep the heat in like wearing a garbage bag
7
bro I hate to tell you but Asian women can be just as promiscuous and bossy as white women, the bossiness tend to come after marriage though
7
@Utriedit215 culture should only change amongst it's native population, if foiegners are involved that's not organic change it's tribalist competition
7
@Kristina-rb2cc because the foreigners are not genetically German, they are a different peoples so they can never truly adapt and when they get to a certain demographics they develop tribal in group preferences and act as a rival against the natives, it's just normal genetic survival strategy, it's why borders existed in the first place
6
@ilovelife3328 culture comes from a peoples via hundreds/thousands of years of natural selection, there's a reason why Japanese and other Northern peoples have higher trust societies compared to Southern ethnic groups and that is highly realted to geography/weather and needing to adapt to it to survive
6
@johns7539 1 in 25 people living in Tokyo is a foriegner, that has probably affected Tokyo as well, still no where as bad as Paris and London though
6
@ItoHirobumi-tk1wq this, American culture is far more toxic. I just checked what the drug over does rate in the US is (32.4 per 100,000) combined with sucide rates (14.04 per 100,000) then checked Japan's suicide rates (17.5 per 100,000) and obviously no drug overdoes issues since that's not even a thing there So yeah Japan is doing much better then America in terms of quality of life
6
It's the same in all countries, they clear the homeless off just to move them somewhere else but never do anything to actually help them, which is sad since most of these people are mentally ill or/and victims of abuse that substance abuse to numb the pain
5
@watchmesquatch that's not called respect it's called being a naracist
5
@dushaunlewis7574 I live in Canada, it's not a real country, it's just a land of various ethnic enclaves and tribal nepotism, why would you want to destroy Japan like this?
