@ronald8792 Saddam did have them as he used them against the kurds and in the his war against iran. The real reason for the invasion tho for me was because sunni al queda were in sunni iraq. All part of the 20 year war on terror after 9/11. Thats why there was intervention in sunni afghanistan as well.

Because he holds his annexed territory and will not be open for negotiation.. If he doesnt want war then why invade in the first place?

@jacquelineloaring2438 I am always proud of the UK. Perhaps you could oblige me as to why you aint proud to live in a democracy with all its associated freedoms? Perhaps you might prefer an autocracy like putins russia were all those freedoms are purged and banned.

@ronald8792 GWBs war wasnt with iraq. It was with al queda and islamic fundamentalism after 9/11. No 9/11 then no war in iraq and the 20 year war on terror. It was iraq first because they were sunni and were anti US/west and sunni al queda were present later morphing into IS. As for foreign journalists questioning presidents and prime ministers like they did in my country after iraq then they are freely able to do so due all our democratic freedoms. Not so in putins russia. Thats the difference and why carlson should bear that in mind. Tho tbf to him he did raise the issue of the jailed US journalist. Lots and lots of questios he could have asked for me but i doubt putin would have carried on if he did. I suspect there would have been some vetting going on beforehand anyway. Otherwise i doubt he would have been given the interview in the first place.

120 ukranians died at maidan not the CIA. Ukranians had already risen up in kiev against yanukovych previously in the orange revolutuion. 92% voted toleave a union with russia in 1991, so when yanukovych proposed rejoining a union with russia instead of the EU as promised in his election not surprisingly they rose up again. Also yanukovych had his main political opponent yulia tymoshenko jailed which fueled the anger even more so. Protests began peacefully at first but as the police actions became more brutal the violence increased with yanukovych eventually sending his special berkof police unit in to open fire on the demonstrators. No way could yanukovych survive that bloodbath so he fled the following morning and new elections to replace him were planned. Where the CIA involved in both uprisings?

@ronald8792 Libya was part of the arab spring if i recall correctly and it was us, the UK, and france that helped the anti gaddaffi rebel forces depose him .Airpower only if i remember correctly. No US involvement that i can recall. The arab spring involved muslim countries turning more democratic along the norhern meditteranean. I believe it started in tunisia or morocco? then moved down through libya to syria where the US led coalition under obama backed down from supporting the rebels there after a vote for airstrikes was lost in the UK parliament and putin stepped in to help the syrian dictator assad instead and flattened aleppo which was the rebel stronghold. Of course the war on terror was still going on in afghanistan. Which the west has now won despite the rushed withdrawal there as there has been no major terror attacks on western civilisation since, fingers crossed. Obama did say it would take 20 odd years to win it.

BUT was far more corrupt and evil

I might have respected him if he had asked why 1.Putin invades a sovereign independant state and annexes territory for no good reason. 2.Putin invades a sovereign independant state and why he is then condemned by 141 nations of the world at the UN. 3.Putin facilitates his military to commit regular war crimes on civilians, buildings and infrastructure. 4.Putin has been charged at the hague for the ethnic cleansing/russification and abduction of ukranian children. 5.Putin facilitates assassinations at home and abroad. 6.Putin uses state funded propaganda to suppress his people and misinform the world. 7.Putin uses oppression to suppress his people. 8.Putin breaks negotiated peace deals regularly eg minsk 2015. 9.Putin jails/murders any political opponents. Nemtsov/navalny. 10.Putin promotes abroad extreme far right nationalism and acts like extreme far right nationalists of the past like hitler and mussolini. 11.Putin acts like an imperial nationalist and wants to recreate the soviet/russian empire again. 12.Putin facilitates nationalist and military ideology/education for russian children. 13.Putin lives in a palace while many of his people live in squalor. 14.Putin treats his mobilised soldiers like cattle off to slaughter. 15.Putin faciltates "filtration" camps for ukranian refugees. 16.Putin facilitates the russification and torture of ukranian refugees and ukranians trapped in occupied territories. 17.Putin prevents osce election observers from observing russias supposed elections. 18.Putin rewards successful proxies/assassins places in his state duma. etc etc etc. Then again he never has been critical of putin hence the interview being allowed by putin.

@dalton-jon-f5791 Which presidents have started wars? Pearl harbour. N .korea invading the south. N.vietnam invading the south. Saddam invading kuwait. 9/11.The US all in coalition with others if im not mistaken. Have i missed one?. Im not american mind so not up with their history. They certainly havnt annexed territory like putin has done here. If you research putins palace you will find it on the coast near sochy. Home to some of the most expensive real estate in the world.

And russias is? Ask the OSCE election monitors who were given restrictions on their monitoring and so therefore refused.

John mccain was there as well. Nothing wrong with promoting and supporting democracy and its freedoms which ukraine is now fighting for along with its independance from its imperialist neighbour.

Yep like they have all been propagandised by putins state funded media since he came to power. 1.5 billion usd/115 billion rubles a year on state propaganda. Half on state tv/radio and the other half on promoting its propaganda narrative abroad with RT etc..
