To be fair, a few months ago, i thought they were keen on applying for EU membership at some point in the future. Maybe putin got some kind of hold on the leaders there?

@JustARandomFio Twas NATO that intervened with US air power being the main weapon used. No critisism here in the UK, at the time or since.

NATO didnt support. It ended a genocide being perpetrated by the larger serbian military after numerous appeasement attempts failed. Both sides had people convicted of war crimes afterwards at the hague including the serbian president and his military commanders. NATO acted as a peacemaker to end the war/genocide and then as a buffer to prevent further violence. Only cold hearted selfish nationalists, on both sides, want to escalate this all again. Which dont say much for you.
