@mikeesull You mean the ones that barricaded themselves in leaving no exit. Which then caught fire as both groups were lobbing molotovs at each other. 400 were in the building at the outset. 42 died so many were rescued by the people outside. There are pictures showing them erecting temporary scaffolding to try and help them. As the fire brigade never responded and neither did the police during the whole day of rioting. 6 had already died in the clashes beforehand. 2 of them pro maidan. 22 people have been charged from both sides with many still on the run. Including the police chief. The riots started when anti maidan protestors attacked a pro maidan march through the city centre who were bolstered by a large contingent of visiting football fans. The larger pro maidan group eventually started to chase their opponents back to the building where the tragedy happened.

Is that the genocide that putin claimed to justify the invasion. Funny how the UN monitors present there those 8 years never noticed it?

Sunni ISIS-K in afghanistan have only just recently bombed shia iran killing 80 odd civilians there. The US/west warned both countries of these attacks as part of their "duty to warn" policy despite the poor diplomatic relations. Putin is big mates with iran these days as he needed their support and shaheed drones. This is what you get if you get involved and take sides in the middle east

As my replies to comments keep being deleted yet again I will have to comment myself. Putins most potent weapon is his propaganda. Hes been using it in russia since he came to power 25 odd years ago. It keeps his people "onside". Now he uses it worldwide through RT and other social media platforms. Its aim is to attack our democracies and divide us whenever possible. It also supports and promotes far right nationalism wherever it can too. Hence the release of a muslim name. Hence the flying in of muslim immigrants into belarus so they can create division and create far right support in poland. Hence their state funded troll farms are active all over western social media platforms either criticising our democratic institutions or supporting far right groups by creating the division which would benefit them. As for my comments being deleted. I have a strong suspicion of numerous putin trolls/nationalists spamming the spam button for me. Then the YT algorythm kicks in and my comments get kicked out. Thanks for supporting putin YT..

@Memovox What you mean the state funded putin bubble bias? 1.5 billion usd/112 billion rubles a year. Half of it on state tv/radio and the rest on RT etc. Been tripled since the invasion. Keeps all you employed at the st petersburg troll farm happy i guess.

@gen_x_dad Apart from arriving in a van full of placards, and also, tie wraps which are commonly used by protestors to tie themselves to things. So the police thought they were going to be used to block the procession. A new law was passed by government just before the coronation to prevent this kind of thing from happening. Due to all the climate protestors attaching themselves to things preventing ordinary people from going about their business over recent times. I also saw videos of pro and anti royalists squaring up to each other among the big crowds with lots of families and children around them. So the prevention of violence has to be taken into account by the police as well. Confrontational demonstrating is not the same as peaceful demonstrating. Why didnt they organise a peaceful demonstration ahead of time with the police? Nah they gotta go and try to spoil the party instead.

@suburbanyobbo9412 She doesnt have too. In russia, propaganda is putins most potent weapon. Its state funded and it has been used worldwide since RT emerged from "russia today" when putin came to power 25 odd years ago. "Russia today" used to be a gentle promotion of russian culture. Now its part of a global propaganda tv and social media network. Its aim is to divide us here in western democracies and to promote and support far right nationalism. Hence the release of a muslim name to create division. Hence the flying of immigrants into belarus stunt on the belarus/polish border. Hence their state funded troll farms trolling all over western social media platforms. All to create division and attack democracy. As thats what putin fears the most. Not NATO as he and his cheerleaders insist. Its the democracy and all of its freedoms that are associated with NATO.
