Comments by "" (@colby25) on "The Sex-Trafficking of Ukraine’s Girls" video.
From wiki...Regarding the united kingdom...."UK authorities began to launch aggressive anti-trafficking law enforcement efforts to uncover trafficking and identify victims. During 2009, a six-month investigation into human trafficking by all 55 police forces of the United Kingdom failed to find a case of human trafficking". Which seems hard to believe. Maybe they werent looking for specific sex trafficking victims? I wonder if it was the big influx of immigration just after that time. Into the UK from the EU. From a lot of eastern european countries who had just joined the EU. That created or maybe multiplied the issue. In 2015 it did seem as though the issue was identified in the UK, as it brought in the modern slavery act which covered all forms of human trafficking.. It does seem to have got worse tho. From wiki again..."Since the secretive nature of the criminal world, it is hard to tell the true number of victims of human trafficking. What can be said is that human trafficking is more prominent now than it has ever been.[16] The National Crime Agency believes the number of victims is in the tens of thousands within the UK.[16] Chinese, Nigerian and Vietnamese individuals are the most commonly reported nationalities for potential victims of human trafficking.[16]"
