In a statement issued on Feb 15, the Ministry of Social & Family Development (MSF) said these claims were false. MSF said the couple were receiving assistance from various agencies, including transport vouches. It added that the woman still had more that 60,000 in her medisave account and did not have to pay out of pocket for the physiotherapy sessions.

@PAPKNN Mr. Chua said that the Govt was not saying that WP and PSP were pointing fingers at the Govt on social media, but said Mr. Singh had not answered his question on why he waited four years to get in touch with the couple.
