  1. The 2020 election hinges on whether the Dems are successful in presenting a sane appearing candidate. If they manage to put forward someone who comes across as reasonable, as opposed to hyperbolic and hysterical, then it's going to be close. I can't see this happening yet, but 2 years is a lifetime in politics.
