  1. 11:20 - Given that the projectile isn't touching the walls of the barrel, the smoothboreness might not degrade the accuracy nearly as much as with a chemical firearm (where you get the ball or whatnot bouncing from side to side as it goes down the barrel), so a laser sight would probably make more sense for a coilgun than for a musket.

  6. Better than an M72 - the RPG has way less backblast (its rear danger area is way shorter than most rocket launchers; it can even be fired from within a building if you're careful) and you can reuse the tube instead of having to throw it away after one shot.

  15. Which actually has me wondering why the OSS wasn't able to come up with a suitable poison for the Flying Dragon. Immobilizing large temperamental animals takes some extremely powerful sedatives, enough to knock out a human in seconds if they accidentally stick themself with a large-animal dart and to kill them within a few minutes from respiratory failure if the antidote isn't immediately administered; those lethally-powerful sedatives would seem to be the perfect poison for something like the Flying Dragon.

  34.  @josephledux8598  Any armor which resists projectiles by some means other than passively sitting there is a form of reactive armor, not just explosive reactive armor. The sole difference between NxRA/NERA (such as Chobham armor) and ERA is that NxRA uses the energy of the incoming projectile to power the reaction, rather than using prestored explosive chemical energy.

I can think of one justification for using the biggest round possible for sniping, iff you have accurate ammo and an accurate gun; a bigger, heavier round has a higher ballistic coefficient than a lighter one (lower surface-to-mass ratio, courtesy of the square-cube law), hence is slowed down more slowly by aerodynamic drag and less affected by crosswinds between you and your target, hence is (potentially) more accurate at long range, hence is (potentially) usable for sniping out to longer ranges than something smaller (also, even if a big round had the exact same ballistic coefficient and impact speed as an equally-accurate smaller round, the big round would still have greater kinetic energy at impact - and, hence, lethality - due to its greater mass, making it still, potentially, useful out to greater ranges), hence can take potshots at the enemy from further away than they can shoot back with their own rifles.

  45. Out of curiosity, why doesn't a lighter projectile allow a higher muzzle velocity with a coilgun? The force on the projectile is proportional to the strength of the magnetic field acting on it, and the acceleration of the projectile is proportional to the force on it and inversely proportional to its mass, so it intuitively seems like decreasing the projectile's mass should still result in a higher muzzle velocity.
