Same with Reno. I lived in Tahoe for years, which used to be reasonable. After Silicon Valley started buying up property and working remotely (and crowding the mountains midweek), many people I knew migrated to Washoe and Carson Valleys. After Tesla opened a massive plant in Fernley, tons of people moved in. Reno and Carson are going up and up...not sure about Minden and Gardnerville. I'm grateful that I got to "live the dream" as long as I did because now I'm barely getting by in a town I used to laugh at.
