Norway is perhaps the largest oil revenue nation in the world outside of the Middle East on a per capita basis. So they're not about to suddenly become friends of the environment today.

@Adrian-lc6jq That's entirely false and rather ridiculous.
9
@KappaClaus Sheer idiocy, Norway pays for its entire government budget with oil revenue.

Norway is the largest oil revenue country in the world outside of the Middle East on a per capita basis. Without oil, they would go back to being a tiny fishing country.
8
Norway is like a guy who protests against capital punishment but makes his living as a hangman.

@Avantime Nearly all of Norway's energy needs are met by hydro, about 97% I believe. So they have no need to spend money on solar or wind projects except as greenwashing oil money.

@bennyklabarpan7002 Norway is probably the biggest oil revenue nation in the world outside of the Middle East on a per capita basis. Facts are important.
2
@bennyklabarpan7002 That's a hilarious answer, since they are the ones throwing trash into the air. LOL
2
@erlendkaarb2038 You're unquestionably wrong. LOL
2
@NemeanLion- You literally know nothing at all about this subject. An article from last year: "What Should Norway Do With An Extra $170 Billion From Oil And Gas Revenues?"
2
@Incognito-co6og Utter nonsense, Norway had a commercial fishing fleet, not a merchant marine fleet. The three biggest merchant marine fleets in the world before WWII were the British, by far the biggest, then the US and Japan.
2
@NemeanLion- You just keep expressing your own opinion as if it was factual information. I doubt you could even find Norway on a map.
2
@javasiege The two countries have nothing whatsoever in common, so your point is specious.
1
@NemeanLion- Then why don't the Norwegians give up the cash flow to save the environment? LOL
1
@NemeanLion- Yet they fill the air with harmful emissions to line their own pockets with wealth. You seem rather clueless.
1
@NemeanLion- That's false too. Literally nothing you have written is in any way true.
