  3. Sowell's idea of a supposed golden age when Christians got along with Jews has no basis in reality. In fact Christian hatred for Jews started as early as the late 4th Century when St. John Chrysostom, then Bishop of Antioch, delivered a series of sermons known Adversus Judaeos. These basically laid the theological groundwork for 1600 years of Christian hatred direct toward Judaism. You would never know that Christianity was the root and branch of anti-Semitism from listening to Sowell.

  5. That's false, all of the Nazi leadership was Christian. In fact Hitler was a Roman Catholic who went to Catholic schools where he was taught by priests. In Mein Kampf, he said he was doing God's work.
