Only Thomas Sowell could go through two hours about the history of Judaism and hardly even touch on the 1500 years of organized Christian destruction and hate directed towards them. I loved it when he said they were expelled from Spain for "whatever reason" as if nobody knew for sure. In the real world of course it was part of the celebration of Ferdinand and Isabella's victory over the last Islamic outpost in Spain. They were hard line Catholics, especially Isabella and wanted to purify Spain of all non-Catholic people (there were no Protestants as of yet) The Spanish Inquisition, not the only inquisition but the most terrible, was begun by F&I in 1478 specifically to target Jews and those called conversos, who had converted from Judaism to Catholicism but were suspected of being secret Jews. If you want to read a real history of Jews, written by one, try "The Story of the Jews" by Yale professor Simon Schama. It's detailed, but yet very readable.
