I can understand why they designed it this way. Without activating the T cell, there is no memory. Therefore in order to last longer in effects, mRNA must produce alot of antibodies.

  36.  @michelleyip9507  yes the current vaccines all have problem. AZ vaccines can be solved and working with a German lab. But the mRNA spike protein, I don't see any propose solution. For Taiwan vaccines, it will be quite interesting. As you know Taiwan medical is free for their own citizens.. Taiwan government will not try funny stuff to increase their future medical cost. They claim to have the lowest side effects. But of cos Taiwanese go ahead first. I will try to analyze the data and see if I wanna jab...

A good vaccines will activate our T cells and that's the memory of how to fights. There is no evidence of mRNA activating the T cell so far. At least I haven't found it. But AZ does activate the T cells. But the catch is the antibodies produced are quite low as compared to mRNA based vaccines. China vaccines had the lowest antibodies produced so far. Patient recovered from virus had number of antibodies, factor of 1. mRNA based vaccines factor of 2. AZ factor of 0.8. sinovac factor of 0.6.
