  2.  @dinte215  Democracy is declining because people are getting more intolerant and unable to make compromises with those who have different ideas. Yes, democracy should be mostly untouchable, that's the best way to listen to the will of the people. Get autocrats/dictators in power and slowly watch your civil rights start eroding.

  4. In a FPTP system you can have 15% of the voting and elect nobody.
