Yeah, that’s pretty accurate. Getting air support is always a raffle where you have to wait until after you’ve called even learn whether or not you’re going to get it, and then there’s a whole triage, where again they might just decide you don’t get it. Huge reason why I much prefer Aamir Support, or artillery. Support is because Armor is right there with you and changes the whole dynamic of a fight. With artillery, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Support from something like a D30 that can be set up in about a minute and have the first shell on target in roughly another minute, and you can basically keep the battery on some thing like call for short notice assistance within a minute provided you can tell them the adjustments. Getting air support is the coolest thing since discovering your favorite pornstar also does escort sessions, but there’s the reality it’s in demand absolutely everywhere at all times and you can’t put the war on hold while you wait for the plane to show up.

At 5:25 this video claims a reason the US switchedto overwhelmingly using exclusively precisio guided munitions was to avoid civilian casualties. That does not bear out with objective fact whatsoever. For example, during the first month of America’s 2003 Iraq war, the United States killed 8000 civilians during the invasion phase of just the first month. Meanwhile, in the supposedly brutal imprecise 2022 Russian intervention in Ukraine took a whole year to kill only 7000 civilians while using significantly more artillery, and unguided weapons versus so-called precision weapons. So the so-called civilized country using so-called precision weapons, was 22 times deadlier to noncombatants then the so-called barbaric country that did not use such weapons.
