The Israeli representative at the UN clearly outlined their objective. 'Never again'. The attack by Hamas clearly demonstrated that no amount of investment in defence can prevent such an attack. I believe they will now move to eliminate the threat to ensure it can 'never again' occur. This means a full scale invasion and take over of Palestine and a full take down of Hamas. The problem here is Hezbollah and Iran. They will not let it happen unchecked. But the US and allies will not allow Israel to be threatened by them either. Dread times, truly dread.
