  2. Ah, but there was no trail, it was summary judgement. Which means the judge can decree without actually hearing any of the merits. The whole case violated his right to due process. Specifically, the right to call witnesses and face your accuser under the 6th amendment.

  5.  @Useracct-m9s  No, it would not. As Kevin O'Leary has pointed out, what they are criminalizing is standard business practice ACROSS THE GLOBE. You don't care about ANY of the facts in this case, you just want your political tribe to win, the consequences bedamned.   6. But State laws are still subject to Federal oversight. Lee vs. United States (1883) makes what the State of New York is doing unconstitutional.

  7.  @stevengoldstein114  Nice deflection. You clearly did not read the case. Nor have you read further Federal cases that uphold the supremacy of the Federal courts over the state courts. And that doesn't even begin to even touch on the fact that this case has no merits to begin with. The ruling was a summary judgement, which mean Trump didn't even receive an actual trial meaning that due process was violated.
