Moultonborough is beautiful along Lake Winnipesaukee with Ossipee Mountains and Red Hill serving as the backdrop to the town. It isn't cheap to live there, but property taxes are low. Hopefully I will be able to retire there one day, you have to work extremely hard and save/invest to be able to live in scenic and desirable areas of the US these days!

There are plenty of things to see in New Hampshire if you like doing things outdoors. A great amount of lakes, trails, mountains, seacoast, etc. Appalachian Mountains Trail goes through the White Mountain National Forest. Also, some nice towns like Portsmouth, Meredith, Wolfeboro, etc. If one likes larger cities with more amenities you're out of luck. The largest city in the state is Manchester with just over 100K population.

Pittsburg, NH in the North Country I would assume.

Good, far better than heat and humidity. Go move to overcrowded Florida with all the crazy people down there.

One year about 10 years ago Concord received over 100 inches of snow. Pittsburg, NH in the North Country gets well over 100 inches of snowfall every year, but fewer than 1,000 people live there.
